Hey guys— obviously it’ll be a lot of our first times going to an Arashi concert. I just wanted to share some extremely important concert etiquette that I found directly on Johnnys-net:
"Recently we’ve noticed some conspicuous cases of fans who show bad manners when cheering…
and PLEASE don’t wear big bows or anything big on top of your head (as well as really high heels), because it makes it hard for people behind you to see.
Do not sing along/talk in a large voice, or don’t sing at all, because the audience is there to listen to Arashi, not you.
DO NOT interrupt the members when they are talking, even calling their name in a large voice. It is important to be polite to the other audiences, but don’t forget the people who are performing; they are people too.
Please turn off your phones, because the signals they release, because they make the ear monitors that the members have on make a really loud sound (the high-pitched sound on microphones)
No matter how much you want it, please do not take anything that is released to the audience in a violent way (even ripping out tapes)
PLEASE!!!! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TRASH IN THE CONCERT HALLS!!!
These are things that bothered one of my friends when they went to an Arashi concert. Because of the ill-mannered people, the experience that was supposed to be fun just made it a bitter memory.
Because Arashi fans (at least in Japan) are generally seen as ill-mannered, and after going to the concert, she felt that she had to agree.
Having bad concert manners in general make the performers look bad as well, so please follow the basic rules. It should be easy if you just respect the other people in the audience and the performers.
But don’t stress out on the rules so much that you can’t have fun. The whole point of the concert is so that everyone can have a good time, so I’m just asking to help out with the performers and create a good experience for everyone.
And of course, don’t forget to have fun!!
